Jhalawar district has a well-developed infrastructure to provide basic
health services in the district. District is proud of having first
place in Rajasthan state for family planning program (CPR). Almost all
of the remote villages are well-connected to the primary health

Department of Family Planning is running the Family Planning Program
in the district, the objective of which is to decrease the birth rate
up to 21 per thousand or less and to increase couple conservation rate
up to 60 % or more. Population stabilization is the motto of this
program.
Current birth rate in the district is 22.8 per thousand and couple
conservation rate is 55.75 %. This CCR is maximum in Rajasthan. |
